Biographical Information about Claudia Stuart

Claudia Stuart is a Community Planner on detail with the Pacific Northwest Region of the U.S. Forest Service. Claudia received a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and a M.L.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. She has been with the Forest Service since 1991. During 1993 and 1994, Claudia was granted leave to serve as a resident consultant in planning and participatory democracy to the City of Budapest, Hungary. From 1998 through 2000, she led the Sociocultural monitoring effort for the Sierra Nevada Framework Project. Claudia joined the Northwest Forest Plan monitoring effort in 2000, and has served as team coordinator and field researcher for the Socio-economic Monitoring Team, as well as co-author of several of the monitoring publications.
