Biographical Information about Sean Gordon

Sean Gordon is a Ph.D. student in the Forest Resources Department at Oregon State University. A cooperative grant with the PNW Research Station enabled him to work with the AREMP team on constructing and running their decision support models. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Yale College and a Masters in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry. Prior to returning to school, Sean worked for 10 years in Washington DC, where he managed natural resources information projects for the World Resources Institute and Conservation International. For his dissertation research he is investigating strategies for using forest decision support systems in different organizational and political contexts. He hopes to be finishing up in the next six months and looks forward to finding real job again (so if you have any leads…).
