Posters

You are invited to present posters relevant to the general theme of the Symposium. We are particularly interested in posters that report results of conservation efforts for rare, poorly known species, including social and legal aspects of the planning and implementation process. Refer to the scoping document for additional information. Whereas studies that examine individual species conservation efforts are welcome, the Symposium seeks examples of multiple-species and systems approaches to conservation at large, regional scales. Contact Randy Molina, Chair of the Steering Committee if you have questions about appropriateness.

Posters will be displayed throughout the two-day conference, with setup from 8:00-8:30 AM on April 29 and takedown on April 30 after 4:00 PM. Viewing will during breaks in the program and during a two-hour poster session from 7:00-10:00 PM on April 29. Poster presenters should be available to discuss their work with conference attendees during the evening poster session. Abstracts of the posters will be printed and made available in the symposium packet. Refer to Instructions for Poster and Abstract Preparation and Submission. Please submit your poster abstract no later than Tuesday, April 15, 2003. Poster abstracts submitted after April 15 will not be published in registration materials.
