• Forest Management on Private Lands
o Logging & forest roads, Forest Practice Rule requirements
o Reforestation & vegetation management

9:30 a.m. Drive to Stop 2

10:00 a.m. Stop 2 – Clay Creek

Group will split in half & alternate between two areas:
• Stream flume installation
• Forest thinning & fertilization demonstration plots

11:15 p.m. Drive to Stop 3

11:45 p.m. Stop 3 – Confluence of North & South Hinkle Creek

• Lunch
• Study area overview & hike to view gaging station, fish traps, etc.
• Fish tracking & other field research studies

1:15 p.m. Depart for Umpqua Community College
